Banff takes sustainability seriously and has taken actions to reduce single-use packaging waste at food and beverage retailers.

Reusable packaging has proven to be the most effective means to provide takeout food and beverage with minimal waste, this is why Banff is launching the first of it's kind Municipal Reuse Program where all reusable packaging can be borrowed on one single platform within the town of Banff.

Phase 1 starts in December 2023 with the introduction of reusable coffee cups available at a number of locations in Banff.

Muuse is the chosen platform for this cutting edge program. The Muuse platform is free for consumers to borrow packaging for FREE up to 30 days and return to any participating location.
